Anglo Pacific Group plc ('the Company) announces that Mr Henry Michaelis,
Non-Executive Director, sold on 22nd December 2004 200,000 shares in the Company
at a price of 101p per share and sold on 23rd December 2004 80,000 shares in the
Company at a price of 101p per share.  Following this notification his revised
beneficial interest in the Company is now 1,406,738 shares representing
approximately 1.49% of the issued ordinary share capital.
