Anglo Pacific Group PLC 30 September 2004 Anglo Pacific Group PLC 30th September 2004 Anglo Pacific Group PLC Announces Exposure to Uranium Anglo Pacific Group PLC, (Anglo Pacific), is pleased to announce that it holds an 8.91% stake in Laramide Resources Ltd (Laramide) (symbol LAM on the TSX Venture Exchange). Laramide recently exercised its option to acquire a 100% interest in the Westmoreland -Lagoon Creek uranium project in North West Queensland, Australia. This has a resource of 17 million tons of 1.2kg/U308 uranium to the ton as well as copper and gold possibilities. Westmoreland - Lagoon Creek is one of the largest uranium deposits in Australia. Of the world's known recoverable resources of uranium, 28% of the total are in Australia. Uranium prices have improved substantially in the past 18 months, with spot prices rising from below US $10/lb to current levels of around US $20/lb.
