On 26 November 1999, The Edinburgh Investment Trust plc bought back a further
350,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 519p per share.
Following the buy back, there are 280,835,364 ordinary shares in issue. The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
