Total Voting Rights following the subdivision of shares

The Board of Directors of the Company confirm that the 57,389,739 ordinary shares of 5 pence in issue as at 25 January 2019 ("Old Ordinary Shares") have now been sub-divided into 286,948,695 ordinary shares of 1 pence ("Ordinary Shares").  

Shareholders should multiple their Old Ordinary Shares by five to get their number of Ordinary Shares.

In conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1.R the Company's capital consists of 286,948,695 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.  Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.

The above figure (286,948,695) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc, under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
