                    Eleco appoints Les Player as Head of its
                    Visual Architectural Software Interests



Eleco announces that Les Player has been appointed Head of its Visual
Architectural Software interests which include 'ArCon', a leading German visual
architectural software program and 'o2c', a 3D visualisation and compression
program.  He will also be responsible for Eleco's online software distribution
and support service at www.3darchitect.co.uk.

Les Player has more than twenty years of technical software management
experience in the UK, Germany and USA.  Originally a sub-surface nuclear weapons
systems engineer, he gained experience at ICL as Chief Diagnostician and then as
a Technical Manager for Digital Micro Systems.  In 1986 he was appointed
European Technical Director for Atari Corporation where he was responsible for
software and advanced technology, acquisition and development.  In 1992 as
Managing Director of GFA Systemtechnology GmbH he was responsible for the
development and marketing of programming languages and CAD products; and in 1994
as Managing Director of Data Player Limited he was responsible for localising
and distributing more than 100 software products in the UK retail market.  He
has been instrumental in the launch of the latest English version of 'ArCon'
namely ArCon +7 in the UK market.
