BOARD CHANGES
Elementis plc (LSE:ELM), today announces that the Company's Chief Executive
Officer, Geoff Gaywood, has resigned his position, and will step down from the
Board with immediate effect.
Edward Bramson, currently non-executive Chairman of Elementis, will become
Executive Chairman, and continue the group-wide strategic review that is
currently underway, the results of which are expected to be announced during the
second half of this year.
The Board reiterates the statement made in the recent announcement of the
Company's interim results for the half year ended 30 June 2005 that excluding
any changes that may result from the Board's review, the Company's current
trading performance is in line with its expectations for continued improvement
in the second half of the year.
