Pursuant to the issue of Redeemable B Shares, an application has been made
to the UK Listing Authority and London Stock Exchange for the listing of
906,081,873 Elementis Redeemable B Shares.  Listing of these Redeemable B
Shares will be effective on 2nd November 2000.
