Regulatory methods for next regulatory periods published

Elenia Verkko Oyj €3,000,000,000 Multicurrency Programme for the Issuance of Bonds, unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Elenia Oy, Elenia Holdings S.à r.l  and Elenia Investments S.à r.l.

The regulatory methods for the next two regulatory periods (2024-2027 and 2028-2031) have been published by the Energy Authority on 29 December 2023 after three rounds of consultation.

The changes to the current methods are significant, unexpected and unnecessary. They will have a negative impact on Finnish distribution system operators, including the Issuer, and threaten the development of critical infrastructure and green transition. The Issuer is still analyzing the impact of the regulatory changes and potential actions, whether operative and/or legal, it will take as a consequence of the said changes.
