AGM Statement

Ahead of its AGM being held later today, EMIS Group issues the following update on trading.

The Board of EMIS Group,   the UK leader in connected healthcare software and systems, is pleased to announce that trading for the year to date is in line with the Board's expectations. As reported on 18 March 2021 at the time of its 2020 Full Year Results, the Group continues to have leading positions in specialist markets, benefits from high levels of recurring revenue and remains in a strong financial position.

The Group continues to invest in its product roadmap and improved internal systems, which are expected to drive greater efficiencies in the coming years. As previously stated, the Group expects to grow in 2021 and to build market momentum with its new product developments, which will lead to opportunities for higher levels of growth in 2022 and beyond.

As the Covid-19 situation improves in the United Kingdom, EMIS Group continues to support its customers, notably through its Outcomes4Health software which is underpinning the delivery of vaccinations outside hospital settings. For UK colleagues, a phased return to the workplace - via new hybrid ways of working including collaboration hubs - is planned for the second half of the year. In India, support for colleagues reflects a more challenging set of local circumstances which will result in a later return to on-site working.
