EMIS Group, the UK leader in connected healthcare software and systems , today announces the appointment of Jayaprakasa (JP) Rangaswami to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

JP Rangaswami will formally join the Board on 1 March 2021 and will be a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.

JP's executive and non-executive experience has encompassed a range of sectors, with particular expertise in the data analytics sector in operational and strategic data-focussed and technology roles. His last executive role was as chief data officer and group head of innovation at Deutsche Bank. He also brings a strong understanding of working in a regulated environment having spent more than a decade in the financial services sector.

JP is currently a Non-Executive Director of Allfunds Bank SAU, Daily Mail and General Trust plc, Admiral Group plc and the National Bank of Greece.

Commenting on the appointment, Patrick De Smedt, Chairman of EMIS Group, said:
