Change of Name to West African Minerals Corporation

Share consolidation and change of name; new website address

On 8 December 2011, the board of EML, by a resolution of directors, resolved to change the Company's name to West African Minerals Corporation, to consolidate all of the existing issued ordinary shares of no par value in the share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a ratio of 5 to 1 ("Consolidated Shares") and that fractional entitlements to Consolidated Shares be rounded up to the nearest whole share (the "Share Consolidation"). The Share Consolidation involved the issue of an additional 35.2 Consolidated Shares of no par value, for which a cash amount of £2.73 has been paid to the Company. The directors of EML believe that the Share Consolidation better positions the Company for future funding and makes investing in its shares more attractive to a broader range of institutional investors and other members of the investing public.

The Consolidated Shares for West African Minerals Corporation will trade under the following codes:

These codes will be effective on Monday 19 December 2011, when the Company's website address, including the information required to be included by AIM Rule 26, will change to www.westafricanminerals.com.

Certificates in respect of the Consolidated Shares will be issued by no later than 19 December 2011 and Consolidated Shares due to CREST members will be credited to the relevant accounts on 19 December 2011.

Following the Share Consolidation and the issue of the additional 35.2 Consolidated Shares in respect of the rounding, West African Minerals Corporation will have a total issued ordinary share capital of 92,037,547 ordinary shares of no par value.
