Update on Drilling Programme at Eclipse Gold Project
Empire Metals Limited, the AIM-quoted resource exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that it has secured a drilling contractor to commence the first phase of a two phase drilling programme at the Eclipse Gold Project, located 55km north-east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia ('Eclipse' or the 'Project'), with work scheduled to commence on 28 September.
In addition, the Company advises that the soil / geochemistry sampling programme, announced on 4 September, has now been completed and that all samples are in the Kalgoorlie assay laboratories for analysis. Geophysics work will commence shortly and the results of this and the geochemistry will be used to highlight additional drill targets at the Eclipse Project for the second phase of drilling.
Mike Struthers, CEO, said: "We're very pleased to have secured a drilling rig for Eclipse in such short order, as rigs and crew are generally difficult to secure at the moment. With the soil sampling programme now complete, the geophysics programme about to commence, and the first phase drilling now locked in to commence on 28 September, we look forward to an exciting couple of months ahead."
