Board Change
The Board of Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP), the owner and operator of premium student accommodation across the UK, announces that Michael Enright has resigned as a Director of the Company for personal reasons.
The Company has appointed Nigel Turner FCA as Interim Head of Finance. Mr Turner has acted in a similar capacity for several entities, covering both listed and private companies. His sector experience includes acting as Interim CFO of Aldwyck Property Management Group, which managed over 11,000 properties, and Director of Finance for Care UK Limited which owned over 100 care homes. Jim Prower, Senior Independent Director, continues to provide oversight of the Group's financial reporting function in his capacity as Chair of the Audit Committee.
The Company is seeking a permanent replacement for the role of Chief Financial Officer and a further announcement will be made in due course.
The Board wishes to express its gratitude to Mr Enright and thanks him for his input and contribution since the Company's IPO in June 2014 and wishes him well for the future.
