BOARD CHANGES

Esporta plc announced on 15 May 2001 that Michael Ball would be joining the
Company as Finance Director replacing Mark Beadle who would be leaving the
Company at a date to be confirmed.

Esporta can now confirm that Michael Ball will be appointed as Finance
Director with effect from 23 July 2001 and that Mark Beadle will leave the
Company on 20 July 2001.

Michael Ball is currently Group Finance Director of Filofax Group plc. He
has been with Filofax for seven years, originally as Group Financial
Controller and since 1998 as Group Finance Director.  When he was appointed
as Group Finance Director, Filofax was still fully listed and he continued
in this role during its transition to a wholly owned subsidiary of Day
Runner Inc.
