Transaction in Own Shares
Empresaria, the international specialist staffing group, announces that further to its share buyback programme announced on 17 June 2020 ("Programme"), on 1 July 2020 it purchased 67,000 ordinary shares of £0.05 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £0.37 per Ordinary Share.
All of the Ordinary Shares purchased under the Programme will be transferred to the Empresaria Employee Benefit Trust. The Company intends that Ordinary Shares transferred to the Empresaria Employee Benefit Trust will be used to satisfy the exercise of options vested under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan.
Following the above purchase, the Company has 49,019,132 Ordinary Shares in issue, of which 135,000 are held by the Company as treasury shares until they are transferred to the Empresaria Employee Benefit Trust. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 48,884,132.
The above figure of 48,884,132 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
