Empyrean as been advised by the operator, Krescent Energy Company LLC, ("Krescent") that the McMillan WMRU A-415 #1 well reached total depth of 9416 feet on Sunday 14^th March.

Following the completion of drilling operations logs have been run and analysed. The logs show that the target sands are unlikely to be commercial. The partners in this well have agreed to plug and abandon the well.

Empyrean has a 10% working interest in this well.

No further announcement will be made with regard to this well.

The information contained in this announcement was reviewed by the Technical Director of Empyrean Energy Plc, Mr Frank Brophy BSc (Hons) who has over 40 years experience as a petroleum geologist.
