Sugarloaf Project: Onshore Texas, USA
Operational Update
Empyrean Energy (AIM: EME) notes that Australian Stock Exchange listed AWE Limited (ASX Code: AWE), a partner in Empyrean's Sugarloaf Project in Texas has today released its quarterly report and as part of this report has stated that "The operator has advised that the number of wells to be drilled in the Sugarloaf acreage this calendar year has increased to 37, with at least 2 of these in the Austin Chalk."
Empyrean is in the process of seeking clarification from the operator of the Sugarloaf Project in relation to the anticipated drilling programme for 2013 and will make a separate announcement once clarification has been received.
