Directorate changes
Expro International Group PLC ("Expro") today announces the appointment of Bob
Bennett as a non-executive director with effect from 30 May 2007.
Mr Bennett, 60, joins the Expro Board having served as Group Finance Director of
Northern Rock PLC, a position he held from 1993 until his retirement on 31st
January 2007. Prior to that, he held a variety of general management positions,
including General Manager of Finance and Estates of the Leeds Permanent Building
Society and Chief Accountant of the National Coal Board.
Mr Bennett is currently a non-executive director and Audit Committee Chairman of
Greggs PLC, a non-executive director of Redrow PLC and a trustee of the Northern
Rock pension scheme.
Mr Bennett is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England &
Wales (ICEAW), a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
(CIMA) and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants (CIPFA).
Tim Eggar will be standing down as a non-executive director at the AGM on 5
July, 2007. Mr Eggar has decided not to seek re-election as a non executive
director as he wishes to expand his other business interests.
Commenting on these changes, Dr. Chris Fay, Chairman of Expro said: "We are
delighted to welcome Bob to the Board. He has had an outstanding career in
finance, which included the successful flotation of Northern Rock PLC in 1997,
and he brings valuable experience to Expro. I am confident that he will
complement the skills of the Board and make a major contribution to Expro.
Finally, I would also like to thank Tim for his contribution to Expro over the
last three years."
There are no other matters relating to Mr Bennett's appointment that are
required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
