21 October 2002 For Immediate Release
EXPRO INTERNATIONAL GROUP PLC
("Expro" or "the Group")
"A new beginning in the UK North Sea"
Following Expro's recent trading update on 4 October, the oilfield service
company today announces the award of a £17m, five year contract by Tuscan Energy
for the supply and operation of production facilities on the Ardmore Field,
formerly Argyll, in the UK North Sea. Tuscan Energy is the UK's newest operator
and one of the new breed of independents, formed to develop hitherto marginal
reserves in the UK sector of the North Sea.
The development of the Ardmore Field represents a new era of exploitation in the
North Sea. Expro is pleased to be associated with the project, especially since
the first UK North Sea oil was produced by Hamilton Brothers from the Argyll
Field on 11 June 1975, using Expro's production services.
