New product releases
Enteq, the oilfield services technology and equipment supplier, is pleased to announce the commercial launch of three new products at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas being held between 6 -9 May 2019.
PowerHop, with patents approved and in the process of final grant, is an internally developed wireless downhole connection and power system. Approximately $2m has been invested to date in the development. PowerHop provides a unique solution for wireless power and data connectivity between Measurement and Logging While Drilling assemblies. In the $9bn directional drilling market, efficiency of operation is a key driver for the use of technology.
As a result of Enteq's technology collaborations, which involves joint investment and revenue sharing, Enteq is also pleased to announce the completion and release of the following two collaborative projects.
FusionXT, developed in co-operation with a leading Texas based sensor provider, incorporates a new combined Orientation Module utilising Enteq's industry leading firmware for control and reliability of the system.
Geotracker, providing an azimuthal propagation resistivity sensor, located immediately behind the drill bit, enhancing the ability to drill more accurately through geological formations is combined with Enteq's control electronics, software and firmware.
