                              Holdings in Company


The Company was notified on 1 March 2004 by Artemis Investment Management
Limited ('Artemis') that following a purchase of the Company's ordinary 5p
shares ('Ordinary Shares') Artemis has an interest in 5,000,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 4.92% per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share capital.


The Company was notified on 1 March 2004 by Schroder Investment Management
Limited ('Schroder') that following a sale of the Company's ordinary 5p shares
('Ordinary Shares') on 10 February 2004 Schroder has an interest in 4,828,158
Ordinary Shares, representing 4.75% per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share
capital.
