The Company was notified on 20 December 2004 by The Capital Group Companies,
Inc. on behalf of itself and its affiliates ('Capital Group') that, following a
purchase of the Company's ordinary 5p shares ('Ordinary Shares'), Capital Group
has an interest in 4,463,000 Ordinary Shares representing 3.84 per cent. of the
issued Ordinary Share capital of the Company.
