The Company was notified on 6 December 2005 by The Capital Group Companies, Inc.
on behalf of its affiliates, that they have an interest in 9,218,000 of the
Company's ordinary 5p shares, representing 7.17 per cent. of the issued ordinary
share capital of the Company.

In addition, the Company was notified on 7 December 2005 by The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. on behalf of its affiliates, that they have an interest in
10,280,000 of the Company's ordinary 5p shares, representing 8.00 per cent. of
the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
