Director/PDMR Shareholding

EPE Special Opportunities Plc ("ESO" or the "Company"), announces that, following the purchase by the Company of 1,009,871 shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") on 29 February 2012, the 5,180,454 Ordinary Shares owned by Giles Brand, the Managing Partner of EPIC Private Equity LLP, the Investment Advisor to ESO, now represents 17.60 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The number of Ordinary Shares in issue following the above (excluding treasury shares), and the figure to be used as the denominator for calculations of interests in the Company's voting rights, remains 29,441,769 Ordinary Shares.
