Transaction in Own Shares

EPE Special Opportunities plc (the "Company") announces that, on 31 May 2017, it purchased a total of 10,941 shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a weighted average price of 329.00 pence per share.

The purchased Ordinary Shares will be held by the Company in treasury.

The number of Ordinary Shares in issue, not held by the Company in treasury, following the above and the figure to be used as the denominator for calculations of interests in the Company's voting rights is 27,931,079 Ordinary Shares. The number of Ordinary Shares held by the Company in treasury following the above is 1,544,546 Ordinary Shares.
