Stobart Group Limited is pleased to confirm that David Irlam was appointed as an
Executive Director with effect from completion of the acquisition of James Irlam
and Sons Limited on 4 April 2008, as stated in the Company's announcement dated
10 March 2008.
David has over 30 years experience within the distribution industry. He has
held a variety of management positions within the family business before
becoming Managing Director in 1986 and Chief Executive Officer in 2005. David
has been instrumental in developing and expanding the business and leading
contract negotiations and customer relationships. Further information on David's
previous Directorships is available in the Company's prospectus dated 10 March
2008.
Rodney Baker-Bates, Chairman of Stobart, says 'We are pleased that David has
agreed to join the Board, as he has had substantial experience within the
distribution industry'.
