APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
The Board of Essentra plc ("Essentra" or "the Company") today announces that Matthew Gregory has resigned from the position of Group Finance Director, to take up the role of Chief Financial Officer at FirstGroup plc with effect from 1st December 2015.
The Board has begun a search for a new Group Finance Director, evaluating both internal and external candidates. Consistent with the Company succession planning, Stefan Schellinger, currently the Company's Corporate Development Director, will assume the role of interim Group Finance Director with immediate effect. In taking up this role, Stefan will be supported by an experienced finance department and an established team of senior executives on the Group Management Committee. Ahead of joining FirstGroup plc, Matthew will remain an employee of the Company and will work with Stefan to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities.
