The following information is given subsequent to the announcement made on 13 January 2011 that Colin Day has been appointed Chief Executive of Filtrona plc with effect from 1 April 2011 ('the Appointment Announcement').

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (1) of the Listing Rules, Colin Day has advised that no further disclosures are required in addition to the information provided in the Appointment Announcement.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (2)-(6) of the Listing Rules, Colin Day has confirmed that there are no required disclosures.
