Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility Share Transaction

Filtrona plc today announces the transfer of 142,812 shares (the 'Shares') on 28 February 2011 to Jon Green under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan Part A (the 'Plan').  Under the rules of the Plan the performance conditions for the Shares, which were awarded in June 2005, June 2006 and August 2007, were met and a tax liability is due on exercise for a proportion of the Shares.  Jon Green sold the Shares on 28 February 2011, at a price of £2.9976 per share.
