Total Voting Rights and Share Capital

For the purposes of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of ordinary shares of 25p each of Filtrona plc in issue as at the time of this announcement is 240,469,408 with each share carrying the right to one vote.

There are 7,434,475 shares held in treasury.

The total number of voting rights in Filtrona plc is therefore 233,034,933.

The increase in the issued share capital and the total number of voting rights is due to the allotment of 21,142,613 new ordinary shares of 25p each by way of a Placing as described in the Results of Placing announcement made on 19 March 2013.

The figure of 233,034,933 may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest in, Filtrona plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
