Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on 31 March 2011 a transfer of 11,528 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy maturing share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan and the Company's Save As You Earn Scheme.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 12,418,132 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 206,908,663 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
