Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on 21 April 2011 a transfer of 110,649 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 12,150,114 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 207,176,681 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
