Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on 25 May 2011 a transfer of 11,776 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,407,962 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 207,918,833 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
