Completion of Successful Placing
Eurasia Mining plc (the 'Company') announces that on 30 August 2006 it completed
a successful placing of 17,627,350 ordinary shares of 5p each in the share
capital (each an 'Placing Share') at a price of 5.3 pence per share, raising
£934,250 before expenses (the 'Placing'). It is the directors' intention that
the proceeds of the Placing will be used for working capital purposes.
Application will be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to AIM and they
are expected to be admitted to trading on AIM on 6 September 2006.
The total number of issued ordinary shares in the Company, including the Placing
Shares, is now 140,739,067 ordinary shares ('Enlarged Share Capital').
Under the Placing JP Morgan Asset Management acquired 10,700,000 Placing Shares,
this gives it a holding of 7.6% of the Enlarged Share Capital.
