        Amplats, the World's Largest Platinum Producer,
                 In Joint Venture with Eurasia
                               
Eurasia  Mining  PLC ('Eurasia') advises  that  it  has  today
signed  an  agreement with Anglo American Platinum Corporation
Limited  ('Amplats'), whereby Amplats will fund a first  stage
nine  months  $250,000 joint programme of  works  on  platinum
projects in the Urals.  Eurasia is an AIM listed company which
owns   majority  stakes  in  platinum,  palladium   and   gold
properties in the rich and developed Ural Mountains region  of
The  Russian Federation. The Urals was, until the 1930's,  the
world's  largest source of platinum and over 10.5 million  oz.
were recovered primarily from the Central Urals.

This  first stage gives Amplats the right to earn into a joint
venture  for a jointly managed commercial development  in  the
area and may include expanding existing operations.

The project will involve detailed metallurgical and analytical
work at the Amplats laboratories in Johannesburg.  In addition
the  programme  includes  research  and  database  information
collation in preparation for extending the joint venture  into
production in the future.

Amplats is the worlds leading primary producer of platinum and
other  platinum  group  metals  and  this  agreement  endorses
Eurasia's  significant  investment in  exploration  costs  and
management time in this area.

Mr  John  Dreyer,  Amplats  Director of  Business  Development

Mr  Andrew Counsell, Eurasia's Managing Director said 'We  are

lead  to  a  long  term  joint venture  producing  significant
quantities of platinum.'
