February 2002 Dividend

European Assets Trust announces that the net dividend of Euro 0.075 for February
2002 will be paid on 27 February 2002 to shareholders on the register on 15
February 2002, having an ex-dividend date of 13 February 2002.


Dutch withholding tax does not apply to this February dividend payment.
