European Assets Trust announces that the dividend of Euro 0.075 per share for
November 2002 will be paid on 27 November 2002 to shareholders on the register
on 15 November 2002, having an ex-dividend date of 13 November 2002.

Dutch withholding tax does not apply to this November dividend payment.
