August Dividend
European Assets Trust announces that the dividend of Euro 0.32 per share for
August 2007 will be paid on 24 August 2007 to shareholders on the register on 10
August 2007, having an ex-dividend date of 8 August 2007. This will result in
total dividends paid for the year of Euro 0.912 per share. This represents a
24.5 per cent increase in annual dividend for 2007 compared to 2006.
The increase in the August dividend is to offset the element of Dutch
withholding tax and provide a full 6 per cent payment to shareholders.
Elections for scrip dividends must be received by the Company's administrator,
Computershare Investor Services PLC, by the record date in order to apply to
this payment.
