May Dividend


European Assets Trust announces that the dividend of Euro 0.27 per share for May
2008 will be paid on 30 May 2008 to shareholders on the register on 16 May 2008,
having an ex-dividend date of 14 May 2008.

Elections for scrip dividends must be received by the Company's administrator,
Computershare Investor Services PLC, by the record date in order to apply to
this dividend.
