May Dividend

European Assets Trust announces that a gross dividend of Euro 0.17 (net rate - Euro 0.1445) per share for May 2010 will be paid on 28 May 2010 to shareholders on the register on 14 May 2010, having an ex-dividend date of 12 May 2010. 

The increase in the May dividend is to offset the element of Dutch withholding tax applicable and provide a full 6 per cent annual payment to shareholders.

Elections for scrip dividends must be received by the Company's administrator, Computershare Investor Services PLC, by the record date in order to apply to this payment.
