August Dividend
European Assets Trust announces that the dividend of Euro 0.2725 per share for
August 2006 will be paid on 23 August 2006 to shareholders on the register on 11
August 2006, having an ex-dividend date of 9 August 2006. This will result in
total dividends paid for the year of Euro 0.7325 per share.
The increase in the August dividend is to compensate shareholders for an element
of Dutch withholding tax that will apply to it.
Elections for scrip dividends must be received by the Company's administrator,
Lloyds TSB Registrars, by the record date in order to apply to this payment.
