ISSUE OF EQUITY
On 2 January 2007, European Assets Trust NV sold 225,000 of its Ordinary Shares
held in treasury at a price of £9.79 per share, which equates to a discount to
the estimated net asset value at the time of transaction of 1.9%. Following
this transaction, there are 16,758,475 shares in issue and there are 1,720,000
shares held in treasury since the implementation of the liquidity enhancement
policy.
