ISSUE OF EQUITY

On 14 November 2006, European Assets Trust NV sold 75,000 of its Ordinary Shares
held in treasury at a price of £9.295 each.  Following this transaction, there
are 16,243,475 shares in issue and there are 2,235,000 shares held in treasury
since the implementation of the liquidity enhancement policy.
