Contract Extension
European Motor Holdings plc ("EMH") is delighted to announce that it has secured
a five year extension to its existing exclusive distribution agreement for the
importation of Perodua cars to the UK from Malaysia. The extended agreement
will run until 1 October 2008 and the Group can now look forward with confidence
to continuing to import Perodua cars until that date.
Since EMH started importing Perodua vehicles in to the UK in 1997, it has sold
in excess of 6,000 units and one of the models currently imported, the Kelisa,
is rated as Britain's cheapest car to run.
EMH also envisages some expansion of the range of Perodua cars imported as new
models are under development which will complement the range in the future.
