DIRECTORS' SHARE TRANSACTIONS

The Company has been informed of the following transactions in the Company's
ordinary shares of 40 pence by directors:

• Richard Palmer purchased 1,000 shares at a price of 400 pence each on
  18 May 2006 and purchased 4,000 shares at a price of 415 pence each on 19 May
  2006

• Ann Wilson purchased 1,000 shares at a price of 400 pence each on 18
  May 2006 and purchased 4,000 shares at a price of 415 pence each on 
  19 May 2006

As a result of the above transactions, those directors' shareholdings are now:

• Richard Palmer 595,050 shares (1.09% of the total issued share capital)

• Ann Wilson 444,206 shares (0.81% of the total issued share capital).
