EUROPEAN MOTOR HOLDINGS plc (the "Company")

NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS' SHARE TRANSACTIONS

The Company has received notification today that following the exercise today of
share options under the Company's 1990 Share Option Scheme, Richard Palmer, a
director of the Company, has today sold 150,000 ordinary shares in the Company
at price of 134 pence per share.



The Company has also received notification today that following the exercise
today of share options under the Company's 1990 Share Option Scheme, Ann Wilson,
a director of the Company, has today sold 150,000 ordinary shares in the Company
at price of 134 pence per share.


As a result of the above transactions, those directors' shareholdings are now:

•        Richard Palmer 475,843 shares (0.90% of the total enlarged issued share
         capital)

•        Ann Wilson 347,606 shares (0.66% of the total enlarged issued share
         capital).
