Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Company received a notification today, 23rd August 2001 from Gartmore
Investment Ltd and Gartmore Fund Managers Limited, informing them that
following a purchase of 50,000 ordinary shares on 21st August 2001, they have
a notifiable interest of 5,409,338 ordinary shares, representing 10.057% of
the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
