Total Voting Rights and Share Capital

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6,
European Motor Holdings plc is required to  notify the market of the following:

European Motor Holdings plc's issued share capital consists of 54,767,088
ordinary shares with a nominal value of 40  pence each, with voting rights. 
European Motor Holdings plc does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury. 
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in European Motor Holdings plc is
54,767,088.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if  they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, European Motor Holdings plc under
the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
