Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC ('the Company') received
notification today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company,
that he purchased a total of 100,000 Ordinary shares at a price of
108.5p each.
Following the above purchase he now has an interest in a total of
3,942,320 Ordinary shares representing 4.87% of the total voting
rights in the Company of which 806,627 shares are held on behalf of
or in the name of his wife and children.
