Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that he purchased 34,193
Ordinary shares for himself and 807 Ordinary shares on behalf of his wife on 25
April 2008 at a price of 213p each and a further 65,807 Ordinary shares for
himself and 1,500 Ordinary shares for his wife today at a price of 215.25p each.

Following the above purchase he now has an interest in a total of 3,842,320
Ordinary shares representing 4.73% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 806,627 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
